WHAT AWAITS YOU:

The study of business informatics imparts a sound knowledge of IT and business administration. They are of great importance and account for the special status of business informatics experts in practice. The job description of a business informatics expert is consequently very diverse and ranges from dealing with technological topics (e.g. artificial intelligence, databases, software development, project management) to dealing with IT-related business concepts (e.g. IT consulting, e-business, controlling).

• Field of study: recognized academic profession from the faculty of computer science
• Possible degree courses: computer science, media informatics, mobile computing, business informatics
• Combinable vocational profession: IT specialist (application development, system integration, data and process analysis, digital connectivity)
• Type of training: dual study/combined study, combination of training and study, company internships and block teaching at the vocational school during half term holidays
• Duration of training: total duration 4.5 years
• Two degrees B.Sc. - Bachelor of Science and relevant training qualification from the IHK and HWK
